Yerevan/Mediamax/. Following the results of the first quarter, 2010, “Unibank” preserved the position of the leader in the banking system of Armenia as to the volume of time deposits.

The volume of time deposits of the bank made 73.7bln AMD, 48bln AMD of which represent deposits of individuals. As compared to the analogous period of last year, in the first quarter, 2010, the volume of “Unibank” time deposits increased by 67.5%.

Head of Retail Deposit Department of “Unibank” Diana Jeyranyan stated that the inflow of a large volume of deposits is conditioned by widening of the product line and attractive interest rates. “We plan to continue work on elaborating special offers both for individuals and for legal entities”, she stated.
