Yerevan /Mediamax/. Volume of money transfers in Armenia to individuals via commercial banks in the first quarter, 2010, made 69bln AMD (319.336 transfers). Mediamax was informed in the press service of the Central Bank that in the accounting period the net inflow of money transfers by international systems of transfers made 49bln AMD. As compared to the first quarter, 2009, this index increased by 6bln AMD. The average volume of one transfer made 216 thousand AMD, having increased for 28 thousand AMD, as compared to the analogous period last year. All in all, money transfers to individuals in Armenia via commercial banks and payment-account companies made 102bln AMD in the first quarter, 2010, having increased by 18%, as compared to the same period last year.
