Yerevan /Mediamax/. In January-July, 2009, Armenian GDP cut down by 18,5%, as compared to the same period of last year.

As Mediamax was told in the National Statistical Service today, GDP volume in January-July made 1 trillion 417bln 138.6mln AMD.

The volume of industrial output in the Republic in January-July, 2009, made 336bln 495.5mln AMD, having cut down by 12%, as compared to the analogous period of 2008.

At that, the largest decline is registered in the sphere of construction (55.5%).

Average monthly salary in Armenia in January-July, 2009, increased, as compared to the same period of 2008, by 12.1%, and made 98 583 AMD.

At that, the salary in budget organizations increased by 18.1% and made 82 172 AMD in the accounting period, and in non-budget organizations – 122 324 AMD (growth 6.9%).--0--

In January-July, 2009, Armenia export cut down by 44,5%

Foreign-trade turnover in Armenia in January-July, made 707.9bln AMD or $2013.4mln, having cut down by 32,7%, as compared to the same period of 2008.

As Mediamax was told in the National Statistical Service today, export volume cut down by 44.5% and made 124.8bln AMD or $352.2mln in the accounting period. Import in January-July 2009, cut down by 29.5%, as compared to the analogues period of 2008, and made 583.1bln AMD or $1661.2mln.

Deficit of foreign trade balance in January-July 2009, made 458.3bln AMD or $1bln 309mln.
