Yerevan /Mediamax/. General Director of Yerevan Brandy Company (YBC) Cedric Retailleau believes that the global economic crisis may lead to a slowdown of sales growth of “ArArAt” cognac, “but we will not lose the market”. Mediamax reports that Cedric Retailleau said this in an interview to “Itogi” (“Results”) magazine. “On the contrary, now we observe increase of sales volume. According to our calculations, it will make about 24%”, General Director of YBC stated. “Last year, we had sales growth of over 25%, and one can note that our main sales market is Russia. We also have good sales growth in Armenia itself. I believe that Pernod Ricard, of course, would like to sell more and more each day. But as of today, we have good results, and people in Paris are pleased with us”, Cedric Retailleau stated. “Today our sales make 3.5mln of ultimate liters and we work on increasing the given index. We have good growth prospects in the niche of luxury items – I mean 20-year “Nairi” cognac. But for that, we need to stock volume reserves of old cognac alcohols”, YBC Head stated. Tweet Views 13854
