The volume of direct foreign investments to Armenian economy in 2007 made $669,8mln##, having increased for 43,3%, as compared to 2006.As Mediamax was told in the National Statistical Service of Armenia, the total volume of foreign investments to Armenian economy in 2007 made $1 337mln (growth – 73,7%). In 2007, the volume of Armenia’s investments in other countries made $35,3mln. The volume of private transfers realized to the republic by Armenian citizens, working abroad, in 2007 made $1,32bln. The report of the UN Commission on Armenia reads this. The gross external debt of Armenia, as of the end of 2007, made $2 927,33mln, having increased for $917,33, as compared to 2006. As of the end of 2007, the gross external assets of Armenia made $2006,73mln, which for $621,98 exceeds the indices of 2006.
