Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian ##described as “absolutely wrong” the opinion on full dependence of the Armenian economy on Russia. Mediamax reports that the Armenian Foreign Minister said this in an interview to “Rzeczpospolita” Polish newspaper. Commenting on the fact that the newly-elected President Serzh Sarkisian made his first visit to Moscow, Vartan Oskanian started that Armenia has chosen a strong political alliance with Russia, because the rapprochement with this country assists the strengthening of the republic’s security. “We have many Russian investments, especially in the energy sector, which is quite understandable, since Russia supplies gas to us, as well as fuel for the nuclear power plant. However, many other states also invest in Armenia. The Airport in Yerevan, for instance, is managed by the U.S.-Argentinean consortium, the largest mines are managed by Companies from Germany, Canada and Great Britain, the postal services – Holland, and the water supplies are realized by a French enterprise”, the Armenian Foreign Minister stated.
