Armenian government has approved “Work Armenia Initiative” strategy programme today.

In this regard, Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan has announced that the programme will be held from 2019 until 2023.   

He mentioned that the strategy is fact-based, result-oriented and measurable. The necessary activities have been implemented to fulfill concrete objectives.  The general objective is the improvement of the quality of life with development of human resources and promotion of employment and institutional reforms by taking the path of career and professional self-realization.

One of the main steps to be taken is the development of the programs to promote employment among the youth and women.

Tigran Avinyan has also added that the next important step is going to be the implementation of pilot trainings for permanent conscripts that are not involved in military duty on the front line. As a result, they will more easily correspond to the needs of the labor market after the army service.
