Yerevan is hosting an event dedicated to the opportunities and benefits that entrepreneurs will be offered by the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between Armenia and the European Union.The EU Delegation of Armenia has announced that the agreement implies liberalization of bilateral trade.“This will give EU and Armenia traders, investors and services suppliers greater certainty and enhance further the trading environment. It will also create the conditions for increased cross-border investments,” they said.Additionally, there will be a discussion on mutual additional market access in the public procurement field.“Moreover, there will be a discussion on how Armenian operators and consumers will benefit from an ambitious system of protection of Geographical Indications and how Armenian companies, artists and inventors will be able to rely on strong intellectual property rights protection system in their own country, just like they can in the European Union,” the delegation informed.
