Yerevan, February 13 /Mediamax/. The “Improvement of the risks management processes” program of the ABN AMRO international bank was launched in “Unibank”. As Mediamax was told in the press service of “Unibank” today, the Senior Advisor of the risks consulting service of ABN AMRO, the head of the project Lloyd Ralston, who visited Yerevan, noted that the main aim of the program is the implementation of the international experience of risks management into the Armenian bank. During the program, which is to last 14 months, a number of events will be realized in “Unibank” to implement new systems and to improve the existing procedures. In particular, it is planned to set up a Risks management department in “Unibank”. This year they also plan to elaborate and implement a conception of risks management in “Unibank”, a long-term strategy of risks management, to improve the system of exact division of functions and authorities of the executive body of the bank, to realize inner structural changes. According to Lloyd Ralston, leading technologies will be used in the staff policy issues as well. In particular, the managers and the specialists of “Unibank” will be regularly participating in the ABN AMRO seminars. During the realization of the program special attention will be paid to the implementation of a “risk culture” system in the bank. “Unibank” gained the right to realize the program based on the result of the competition, held in 2006. The selection of the participants underwent two stages: based on examining the forms, received from the banks, and the interviews with the heads of the banks.
