The international Visa and MasterCard payment systems sent a proposal to the National Bank of Azerbaijan to implement reduced local tariffs.

As Trend was told by the Executive Director of the “MilliCard” Center Jalal Orujev, at present the payment systems implement international tariffs to all the operations of the Processing Centers “Millicard” and “AzeriCard”, despite the fact that the emission and the acquiring of the cards in being realized in Azerbaijan.

It is expected that the reduced system will cover the activities of both processing centers, and the gain of the customers-card owners from the implementation of the reduced local tariffs will make 1% of the volume of operations.
