Yerevan, October 24 /Mediamax/. The Russian MTS mobile operator has not yet received any information from the Greek OTE Corporation about the results of the tender on selling the 90% share of the Armenian “ArmenTel” Telecommunication Company.

The MTS Press Secretary Kirill Alyavdin said this in an interview to Mediamax today.

Mediamax recalls that commenting in early October on the statements that the tender was won by the Arab ETISALAT consortium, Kirill Alyavdin stated that “the whole information on the results of the tender has represented rumors by now”.

On October 11 OTE refuted press articles, saying that the disposal process of its 90%-owned subsidiary, ArmenTel, has been concluded.

“OTE will timely inform the investment community, through a press release, of any final decision regarding ArmenTel’s buyer, the selection process of which has not yet been concluded”, OTE’s statement said.
