Yerevan, September 20 /Mediamax/. The growth of Armenia’s GDP in January-August 2006 totaled 11,3% as compared to the same period last year. As the press service of the National Statistical Service of Armenia told Mediamax today, the GDP volume in January-August 2006 totaled 13708757.2mln drams. The volume of industrial production in the republic in January-August 2006 stood at 411203.9mln drams, having decreased by 0, 9% as compared to the same period 2005. The average monthly salary in Armenia in January-August 2006 increased by 23,1% as compared to the same period last year, thus making 61420 drams. The salary of budget organizations has increased by 24,2%, making 42947 drams during the accounting period, and the salary of non-budget organizations stood at 75181 drams (growth - 21,6%).
