Yerevan, September 5 /Mediamax/. The revenues of the “ArmenTel” Company for the second quarter of 2006 amounted €36.2mln, having increased for € 7.6mln as compared to the same period of 2005 (growth – 26.6%).

Mediamax reports that this is said in the OTE financial report for the second quarter of 2006. It is stated in the document that “this increase is mainly attributable to the 33.5% increase in the number of mobile subscribers”.

As to the end of the second quarter of 2006, the number of mobile subscribers of “ArmenTel” reached 344 000.
