Yerevan, August 30 /Mediamax/. The Board of the Central Bank (CB) of Armenia increased the refinancing rate for 0,25%, thus making it 4,5%.

As Mediamax was told in the CB press service, the CB Board thinks that in conditions of continuation of economy development trends, the fixation of a double-digit economic growth is absolutely real; however, more likely becomes the preservation of the revealed inflation risks also.

According to the CB forecasts, for the nearest 12 months the inflation will exceed the maximal target index by 3%. In the conditions of preservation of the present prospects of economic growth and taking into account the goals of softening inflation risks, the CB Board does not exclude the possibility of a repeated specification of the rates in the nearest months.
