Forbes Russia reports with reference to its own sources that in the nearest future, Alfa-Bank is going to become the sole owner of Netmonet, one of the largest services for tipping via bank card in the country.A representative of Alfa-Bank’s press service has declined to comment on a possible deal, but she has noted that the bank “consistently seeks new partners, especially among fintech companies, in order to provide clients the best innovative services in the market.”Netmonet co-owner Georgiy Visotskiy has told Forbes that the service “is preparing for an investment deal” which is to be closed before the end of February. He has declined to disclose any details.Netmonet was launched mid-2019. In the first 3.5 months of the service’s operation, around 200 establishments started using it, and in the first year of operation, Netmonet gained 750 users in total.
