Sberbank Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board Stanislav Kuznetsov has revealed the bank’s new innovation projects at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2018 today.We have selected certain remarks by Kuznetsov, based on the reporting by Banki.ru.******Sberbank has introduced a new platform, business marketplace for SberB2B. The testing mode will start on June 1, and on July 10 the platform will go into commercial operation.“We are all used to e-shops, to buying products and services online, but there is no such platform for business. Our marketplace will enable all private and public enterprises to make business transactions online.”******The bank plans to start trial flights of unmanned helicopters for money and cargo deliveries to remote regions of Russia sometime in November or December.“We carry on very intense work on several types of drones in our robotics lab. It is small, with wingspread of up to 3 meters, and it can carry around 70kg of cargo.******The face recognition system Sberbank developed jointly with VisionLabs has been able to identify 42 offenders in Moscow’s metro, helping to catch them.“We’ve uploaded to the system 50 000 photos of the offenders who were listed as wanted in the federal database. Most of those photos are of poor definition. Nevertheless, our system has helped catch 42 old offenders in four different metro stations.”He is certain these technologies will have demand in the airports, places of mass gathering, for search of the missing people.
