Users of web and mobile versions of Mail.Ru now have the possibility to make money transfer to accounts of any email service providers.

Mail.Ru has informed that the money can be transferred to another Mail.Ru user or to a mail box of another email service.

The company has highlighted that customers can use the new money transfers service to make a surprise present for loved ones or to pay for goods purchased in a different city.

In order to use this service, the customer only needs to know the email of the recipient. The user should compose a new message, click on ‘Send the money’, indicate the sender’s card number and the sum for transfer, and finally, confirm the transfer with SMS code. One message allows any transfer between RUB 100 and RUB 75,000.

The recipient simply needs to indicate their card number to receive the money. If the transfer is not received in five days, the whole sum will return to the sender’s card.

Mail.Ru realizes the transfers via the 3-D Secure technology, which provides maximum protection: the sender must confirm the transfer with a single SMS password. Mail.Ru Group and VTB processing centers take care of the technical aspect.
