Yerevan /Mediamax/. Free subscription to buy shares of third emission of shares of \"Artsakh\" Hydropower Plant CJSC began. It will last till October 24.

Prime Minister of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Ara Harutyunyan said in Yerevan today that the company began to operate its second hydropower plant in 2010 and currently builds 4 new ones which will be put in operation by 2013, Mediamax reports.

NKR PM said that in 2010 Artsakh HPP registered an unprecedented 50% growth and volume of production of electricity (178 million kilowatt-hour) having satisfied 76% of internal demand of Artsakh.

Ara Harutyunyan thanked the shareholders of the company. The number of shareholders today exceeds 1200. He outlined three largest investors- Barsegh Beglaryan, Vardan Sirmakes and Joseph Oughourlian.

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, who attended the event, said that the company\'s brave step to become public has fully justified itself, as many people didn\'t believe it. \"Being one of the shareholders of Artsakh HPP, I myself receive monthly reports from Armswissbank [the organizer of the issuing and market maker of Artsakh HPP] about the management of shares and make sure that this program is under safe management. I call on everyone to bravely invest in these shares,\" the Armenian MP said.

As a result of the third emission the company is going to place 3 million 673 thousand 926 nominal registered shares at the placement price at AMD 1110 (the total amount of emission is AMD 4,078bln).
