The share of social expenditures in the CIS ranges from 2.9% (Tajikistan) up to 13.3% (Ukraine)Last week\'s macro-economic review worked out by the Analytical Department of Eurasian Development Bank reads this, Mediamax reports.The largest social expenditures (over 15%) are registered in Belarusian, Ukrainian and Russian governments. The smallest share (10% and less) of social expenditures is registered in Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Armenia. About 4% GDP is spent on health care by Russian, Belarusian and Ukrainian governments. It should be noted that the governments of Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine spend over 5% GDP on education.
