According to the statement of the Police, at around 12:00 today, Head of Security Department under Nor Nork Police Department, Police Captain Artur Hakobyan, having his face concealed with a hat, entered the Administrative territory of “Nor Nork” branch of “Converse Bank” at 10/12 Gai Avenue and with the use of “Makarov” gun realized an armed attack on the bank employees, taking away RR 37800, AMD 1mln 724 thousands, EUR 385, USD 6695.

However, due to the efforts of the policeman on duty at the bank, the crime was prevented. Artur Hakobyan was injured with the use of firearms in the abdominal area and the thigh and was transferred to “Saint Grigor Enlightener” Medical Center. One “Makarov” gun with 1 charger and 8 bullets were confiscated.
