Yerevan/Mediamax/. Proceeds from Ian Gillan’s charitable concerts with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia made 18mln 327 thousand AMD.

Concerts, organized by Mediamax and Do Something within the framework of Rock Aid Armenia/Armenia Grateful 2 Rock project, took place on March 26 and 27 in “Aram Khachatryan” concert hall.

Mediamax will transfer the entire sum to the fund for constructing the building for N6 music school in Gyumri, which is hosted in temporary shelters.

Such a volume of proceeds became possible due to sponsorship of “VivaCell-MTS” mobile operator, which took upon it all expenses on organizing the concert, as well as due to partnership with bmi Airline.

Within the framework of Rock Aid Armenia/Armenia Grateful 2 Rock project, a number of new actions will be realized in 2010 and 2011, aiming at collecting means for Gyumri music school.
