Yerevan/Mediamax/. “Unibank” reduced interest rates on credits for purchasing new cars. Mediamax was informed in the press service of the bank that the interest rates on car credits, the sum of which does not exceed 7mln AMD, are established at the level of 15%, and for credits from 7 to 15mln AMD – at the level of 17%. Prepayment on car credits makes 20%, maximum term – 60 months. The bank also informed that for those, who wish to buy a more expensive car, the bank offers to use overdraft with pawning of the car, issued in USD. The sum of the credit makes 100 thousand USD, the interest rate – 15-17%, prepayment – 30%. The press service of the bank informed that following the results of 2009, “Unibank” occupied the first place as to the volume of car credits in the banking system of Armenia. As of the beginning of this month, the volume of car credits’ portfolio of “Unibank” made about 8bln AMD.
