Yerevan/Mediamax/. Volume of overdue credits made 5bln 149mln AMD in Armenian banking system by the end of the fourth quarter, 2009, having reduced for 5bln 659mln AMD, as compared to the third quarter. As Mediamax was informed in the National Statistical Service of Armenia, the volume of prolonged credits also reduced for 2bln 896mln AMD in the fourth quarter, 2009, as compared to the third quarter, making 16bln 861mln AMD. Share of overdue and prolonged credits in credit portfolio of Armenian banks made respectively 0.69% and 2.26% by the end of 2009. At that, credit portfolio of Armenian banks increased for 51bln 295mln AMD in the fourth quarter, 2009, as compared to the third quarter, and made 746bln 860mln AMD. The volume of deposits made 656bln 990mln AMD in Armenian banking system by the end of the year, having increased for 14bln 198mln AMD, as compared to the third quarter. Deposits in foreign currency made 482bln 162mln AMD (73%) and in national currency – 174bln 828mln AMD (27%) by the end of the year. Credit portfolio of credit organizations in Armenia made 50bln 316mln AMD by the end of 2009, having reduced for 276mln AMD, as compared to the third quarter. Tweet Views 9916
