Yerevan/Mediamax/. The volume of money transfers to Armenia via commercial banks made 363bln AMD (1.539.255 transfers) in 2009. As Mediamax was informed in the press service of the Central Bank, in the accounting period, the net inflow of financial means via international transfer systems made 321bln AMD. As compared to 2008, this index has reduced by 20% or for 80bln AMD. The average volume of one transfer made 236 thousand AMD, having reduced for 33 thousand AMD, as compared to 2008. All in all, money transfers to individuals in Armenia via commercial banks and payment-accounting companies made 584bln AMD in 2009, having reduced by 17%, as compared to the same period of 2008.
