The volume of foreign direct investment in the economy of Azerbaijan amounted to $2.978 billion in the first half of 2024.

Trend reports that Samir Nasirov, director of the Statistics Department of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, said that the top five leading countries in terms of investment in the economy of Azerbaijan include Great Britain - $913.293 million, Turkey - $622.523 million, Cyprus - $372.866 million, the UAE - $236.866 million and Iran - $183.99 million.

The volume of investments from Russia in the first half of the year amounted to only $62.78 million.
