Yerevan /Mediamax/. First Deputy General Director of the Russian “Megafon” operator## Aleksey Nechiporenko considers inefficient the potential entry of the company in the Armenian market because of the high level of mobile connection penetration and the small number of residents. Mediamax reports that Aleksey Nechiporenko told “Vedomosti” newspaper about this. The newspaper also quotes MTS representative Yelena Kokhanovskaya, who said: “only 2,5mln people reside in Armenia, thus the level of penetration there already makes 80%”. According to her, the claimant for the third license should have an aggressive business-plan and financial courage to enter such market. MTS owns the control package of VivaCell mobile operator, which is leading in Armenia as to the number of subscribers. In his turn, Artem Minayev, representative of “VimpelCom” OJSC, which owns the Armenian Beeline operator, stated that “VimpelCom” is ready for the entry of the third player. Tweet Views 5956
