Yerevan /Mediamax/. On July 16, the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) of Armenia## will discuss the tender package on organizing the contest for granting a license to the third operator of mobile connection.

Head of PSRC Communication Department Gevorg Gevorgyan said this in an interview to Mediamax today.

According to the package, to participate in the tender, the aspirant-companies should pay 10 thousand euro, and the minimal declared sum for acquiring the license should make 10mln euro.

The terms of the package provide participation in the tender for companies, which have work experience in the sphere of mobile connection and which are able to make investment at the volume of 200mln euro in the course of the first two years, as soon as they are granted a license in Armenia.

The new operator will occupy the following codes of mobile connection: + 374 (0) 55 and + 374 (0) 95.

At present, there are two mobile operators functioning in Armenia – Beeline and VivaCell.
