Gevorg Parsyan, head of Kapan community, and David Tovmasyan, General Director of “Chaarat Kapan” CJSC, signed a Memorandum on socio-economic cooperation, in accord with which the company will allocate AMD 120 million to the works carried out in Kapan community and acquisition of property as defined by the agreement. Taking into account the pandemic situation, the memorandum was signed remotely.According to the Memorandum, the funds will be directed to the implementation of subvention programs. In particular, two garbage trucks will be purchased for Kapan community, the road leading to Geghanush settlement will be repaired, as well as the road adjacent to a landslide in Mushegh Harutyunyan district of Kapan town will be repaired.As head of Kapan community said, the programs co-financed by “Chaarat Kapan” Company for 2020 have been selected taking into account the priority of their implementation.“The programs are directed to the general development of Kapan community, not only the town of Kapan, but the rural settlements as well. We are happy that the management of the company shares our approaches and implements its social assistance programs not only in the affected settlements, but also in the whole community,” Gevorg Parsyan stated.He also said that within the framework cooperation with “Chaarat Kapan”, over the past year significant work has already been done directed to the development of the community and the implementation of programs aimed at solving various problems.“We are glad that the company has the opportunity to contribute to and participate in programs aimed at the development of our town.
