IDBank granted today scholarships to 5 students for continuation of their education in the Master’s degree.

Chairman of the Management Board of the bank Mher Abrahamyan noted that educational programs are one of the most important areas of Corporate Social Responsibility of the bank, and these programs have particular significance for them.

“We have a strong belief that education is the fundament for society’s development, so IDBank continuously invests in people, their knowledge, and their potential. We implement projects to improve the quality of education, as well as solve the problem of finding jobs for students with no work experience. With all these directions we also solve social problems,” Mher Abrahamyan said.

Head of HRM Division of the bank Sona Manucharyan said that heads of different divisions of the bank were involved in “the difficult process of reviewing the applications and selecting the winners.”

“A large number of applications were received from many intelligent and talented students. The selected participants will receive AMD 1 million scholarships to continue their education in the Master’s degree,” she said.

The winners are Anush Harutyunyan, Hasmik Baghdasaryan, Armen Qosyan, Irina Tadevosyan and Suren Melkonyan.

According to Sona Manucharyan, a series of meetings for exchange of experience for winners will be conducted, as in the framework of the program “Build your Career with IDBank”

“We believe that such steps enable students to integrate into the banking environment, supplement their theoretical knowledge with the practical part and be closer to their future job,” Head of HRM Division said.

The second phase of the program “Build your Career with IDBank” was announced after the solemn award ceremony.
