Yerevan, December 1 /Mediamax/. In the course of the nearest 6-7 months, a new bank, named “Haypostbank” will be established in Armenia.

The Chairman of the Armenian Central Bank Tigran Sarkisian informed about this the journalists today. He noted that the bank is established jointly with the “Haypost Trust Management” Company, which received the asset management of the “Haypost” CJSC. Other international organizations also take part in the establishment of the bank. The bank will provide both banking and postal services. Tigran Sarkisian noted that it will considerably increase the competition in the banking sector.

As the representative of the “Post Finance International” (founder “Haypost Trust Management) Hans Bonn stated, the Company intends to invest $12mln, which will be directed to the stock of the “HaypostBank”.
