Yerevan, October 20 /Mediamax/. 12 out of 21 Armenian banks use the electronic “Bank-Customer” system, which allows the customers to use their accounts via internet. Mediamax reports that most of the Armenian banks use software produced by local companies - “Armenian Programs”, “L-Soft”, and “Private Link”, as well as the programs of the Russian “Diasoft” Company. Most of the banks implemented the “Bank-Customer” only in 2006, and that is the reason why most of the customers, if not all of them, refrain from using the system. In particular, there are no customers, using the “Bank-Customer” system in “Ararat Bank”, “Armbusinessbank” and the “ITB International Trade Bank”. In the banks, which implemented the “Bank-Customer” system 1-2 years ago, mostly legal entities use the system. The “Armenian Development Bank” implemented the “Bank-Customer” system in 2004, and 7% of all the customers of the bank use it now. There are two electronic systems functioning in “Areximbank” - E-bank for natural persons and “Bank-Customer” for legal entities. Only a few customers make use of the first system yet, and about 50 organizations use the “Bank-Customer” system. The “BTA Invest bank” implemented the “Bank-Customer” system in 2005, and today there are 8 legal entities using it. In “VTB-Armenia Bank” 48 customers use the “Bank-Customer” system - less than 1% of all the customers of the bank. The number of legal entities, using the “Bank-Customer” system in the “Cascade Bank” makes a little more than 1% of the whole number of customers of the bank. The “Bank-Customer” system was implemented in “Unibank” in 2006, and there are 130 customers now using the system. The “Bank-Customer” system was not implemented in the “Prometey Bank” because of absence of demand, but the customers are able to follow their accounts using the official website of the bank. “Inecobank” has an internet-service, due to which the customers are able to repay credits by their plastic cards. “Armeconombank” implemented the “Bank-Customer” system back in 2000; however the IT-specialists of the bank are now working to upgrade the technologies and the service is permanently unavailable. Three Armenian banks intend to implement the “Bank-Customer” system in the nearest months or next year. Tweet Views 7537
