The Armenian government approved at its session today the draft state budget-2007, which will be presented to the parliament in accordance with the established procedure. Mediamax reports that according to the draft law, approved today, the income part of the budget will make 587.3bln AMD ($ 1.537bln), the expenses - 655.6bln AMD ($ 1.716bln).The deficit will make 68.3bln AMD ($ 178mln). Speaking at a briefing in Yerevan today, the Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy of Armenia Pavel Safarian said that according to the government forecasts, the GDP growth in 2007 will make 9%, the inflation - 4%. It is expected that in 2007 the tax proceedings to the state budget will make 458.9bln AMD or 15.7% from the GDP. The minimal salary in Armenia in 2007 will make 20 000 AMD instead of the present 15 000. The average calculated salaries of the teachers will make 74 000 AMD instead of the present 58 000, and the average calculated salary of the doctors will make 42 600 instead of the present 38 700.
