Summary data of the Armenian Securities Exchange (AMX) for the third quarter of 2021 as compared with the same period of 2019-2020 show a relative increase in trade and market values.The trade value of the government bonds in the third quarter amounted to over 24 billion drams - registering 46% growth compared to 2019, and 183% growth compared to 2020. 115 transactions on government bonds were concluded.The market value of government bonds for the same period exceeds the threshold of 1.1 trillion drams, exceeding the index of the previous year by 28%.Compared with previous years, both market value and trade value of corporate bonds have shown dynamic growth. The market value of corporate bonds in the third quarter amounted to more than 489 billion drams, which is 19% more as compared with the same period of the last year.The trade value exceeded twice the results of the third quarter of 2019 and 2020, reaching over 15 billion drams. The number of transactions also increased by about 91%, and the average volume by 31%.The number of corporate bonds circulating on AMX has also increased compared to previous years, reaching 116.The total volume of REPO transactions is 11 billion drams which exceeds the index of the third quarter of 2020 by 50% and the index of the third quarter of 2019 - more than 3 times.The trade value of shares in the third quarter increased compared to the same period last year, reaching 234 million drams. The market value has increased by 7% as compared with the previous year, reaching 159 billion drams. Compared with the previous year, the number of transactions has increased 3 times, reaching 44.
