Moody’s Corporation announced yesterday the acquisition of the structured finance data and analytics business of SCDM, a leading provider of risk management services.

Businesswire.com reports that this acquisition will help Moody’s Analytics extend its geographic footprint, as well as expand the capabilities of its growing data, analytics and reporting solutions.

SCDM also operates in Armenia and has recently opened a new office in ViaSphere Technopark.
