“Nairi insurance” LLC was established on 3 December 1996, short after “The Law about Insurance” has passed in the Armenian Parliament. The company is providing insurance services since the 15 April 1997, when was licensed by the Ministry of Finance and Economy of the Republic of Armenia.

“Nairi insurance” LLC was re-registered and re-licensed on 28 March 2008, by the Central Bank of Armenia (#98 Ա ). “Nairi Insurance” has broad area of implementation programs which are including 12 classes of Non-Life Insurance.

The Company has registered branch in Vanadzor, and it also provides insurance services in almost every region in Armenia through a wide net of agents.

The company operates in Non-life insurance sphere and provides the following classes of insurance to Individuals and Corporate Clients:

- Accident insurance (including industrial injury and occupational diseases)
- Health Insurance
- Land vehicles insurance (other than railway rolling stock)
- Railway rolling stock insurance, which covers all damage to or loss of railway rolling stock
- Goods (cargo) in transit insurance
- Fire and natural forces insurance
- Other damage to property insurance
- Motor vehicle liability insurance (also cargo)
- General liability insurance
- Surety insurance,
- Financial loss insurance,
- Assistance insurance.

Nairi insurance sharing its insurance risks with the following international re-insurance companies: SCOR, Hannover Re, Ace European Group Limited.

The charter capital of “Nairi Insurance” LLC equals to 790 million AMD.
