Established in 1995.

License N67 of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia.

The bank started its activity in 1996 as “Midland Armenia Bank” JSC. In 1998 it was renamed into “HSBC Bank Armenia” CJSC. The co-founders of the bank are the HSBC Group - 70%, and the investors representing the Armenian Diaspora.

The bank is the member of SWIFT and Bankmail payment systems.

The bank has 8 branches in Yerevan (66 Teryan St., 3 Komitas St., 47 Komitas St. 9 Vazgen Sargsyan Street, 31a Tigran Mets Avenue, 1 Nersisyan Street, 14 Bagratunyats, 19/10 Gayi Ave.).

As of 31 July 2009, the bank serves 39 828 individuals and 4 653 legal entities.

As of 31 July 2009, the bank has 364 employees.

As of 31 December 2009, the total capital of the bank made AMD 17 143 461 thousand, the assets - AMD 135 810 673 thousand, the liabilities – AMD 118 667 212 thousand.
