“BTA Bank” CJSC was founded in 1991, being the legal successor of “International Investment Bank” CJSC. It realizes banking activity basing on № 31 license, issued by the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia.

On October 31, 2008, the bank was provided official permission of RA Central Bank, according to which it was renamed into “BTA Bank” CJSC.

“BTA Bank” CJSC is the strategic partner of “BTA Bank” SC (Kazakhstan), “BTA Bank” SC (Belarus), “Temirbank” SC (Kazakhstan), “Silk Road Bank” SC (Georgia), “BTA InvestBank” CJSC (Russia), “Omsk-Bank” OJSC (Russia), “BTA-Kazan” SCB OJSC (Tatarstan), “BTA Bank” CJSC (Kyrgyz Republic), “BTA Bank” OJSC (Ukraine).

The bank is a member of international payment systems Migom, FASTER, Contact, Bistraya Pochta, Swift, and is an associated member of “ArCa” payment system.

The bank services 8464 individuals and 474 legal entities.

The bank has 4 branches in Yerevan and one in Gyumri.

As of July 1, the number of bank employees made 145 people.

As of 30 June, 2010: total capital - 5 248 797 thousand AMD, the assets - 8 009 564 thousand AMD, the liabilities - 2 760 767 thousand AMD.
