The bank was established in December 2002.

License N83 of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia issued on 25 February 2003.

In 2003 “Ardshininvestbank” acquired considerable part of assets and liabilities of “Ardshinbank” OJSC and “Armagrobank” CJSC together with their network of branches.

The bank participates in loan programs of the World Bank (Assistance to Agricultural Reforms/ Enterprise Development), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the “National Center for Small and Medium Business Entrepreneurship of Armenia” Fund.

The bank is the participant of the securities market on the basis of permanent trilateral agreements concluded between the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia, the Ministry of Finance and Economy and “Ardshininvestbank”, as well as the market dealer of state loan securities.

The bank is the member of the Union of Banks of Armenia, the Armenian-Georgian Business Cooperation Association, the “Armenian Stock Exchange” Self-Regulatory organization. It is the affiliated member of “Master Card Europay”, the shareholder of SWIFT International Financial Telecommunication System, “Armincassation” CJSC, “ArCa” CJSC, and the exclusive representative of the international MoneyGram money transfer system in Armenia.

The bank has 55 branches: 13 - in Yerevan, 36 - in all marzes of Armenia, 6 – in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. The bank has a representation in Paris.

The bank serves approximately 95.000 clients.

The bank has over 1000 employees.

The shareholders of the bank are “Business Investment Centre” Co Ltd., “International Business Center” CJ CJSC, "Region" IFK CJSC.

As of 31 December 2009: total capital - 27 335 087 thousand dram, the assets - 119 481 150 thousand dram, the liabilities - 92 146 063 thousand dram.
